Terms of Use

Last updated: July 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and Solomigo. They cover who may use the app, what you may and may not do on it, how memberships and boosts work, and the important point that Solomigo helps you find people but cannot guarantee who they are or how they behave. Please read section 8 in particular.

1. Accepting these terms

By creating an account or using Solomigo you agree to these Terms of Use and to our Privacy Policy and Community Guidelines. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old.
  • You must have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract and must not be barred from using the service under applicable law.
  • You must not have been previously removed from Solomigo for a safety violation.
  • You must not be required to register on any sex-offender or violent- offender registry.
  • One account per person. Accounts are personal and non-transferable.

3. Your account

You are responsible for the accuracy of your profile and for everything that happens under your account. You agree to provide a genuine name, real and recent photos of yourself, and a truthful date of birth. Impersonation, catfishing or misrepresenting your age is a material breach of these terms.

New profiles and plans are reviewed before they become publicly visible. We may decline to publish content that does not meet our standards.

4. Verification

Completing a private selfie verification is required to use core features. Verification confirms that an account is operated by a real adult. It is not a background check, criminal-record check or identity-document check, and it does not certify that a member is safe, honest or suitable to meet.

5. Hosting and joining plans

If you host

  • Describe your plan accurately, including location, time, cost and what is expected of attendees.
  • You decide who joins. Do not use age, gender or women-only settings to harass or exclude people abusively.
  • If you cancel, tell your squad in the plan chat as early as you can.
  • You must not charge a profit-making fee. Cost splits must reflect real shared expenses.

If you join

  • Only request to join plans you genuinely intend to attend.
  • Pay your share of any agreed cost split.
  • Repeated no-shows will reduce your standing and may lead to limits on your account.

Solomigo is not a party to your plans. We do not organise, supervise, insure or take responsibility for any meetup, trip, activity, transport or shared accommodation arranged through the app.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Harass, threaten, stalk, defame, or discriminate against anyone, or post hateful content.
  • Post sexual content, nudity, or use the service for dating, hookups, sex work or any commercial solicitation.
  • Advertise, recruit, promote a business, run a tour operation or spam members.
  • Solicit money, investments, crypto, loans or gifts from other members.
  • Share anyone else's photos, contact details or private messages without their consent.
  • Use bots, scrapers or automated tools, or reverse-engineer the app.
  • Circumvent a suspension, ban or account limit.
  • Bring weapons or illegal drugs to a plan.
  • Break the law or endanger anyone.

7. Your content

You keep ownership of the photos, text and other content you post. You grant Solomigo a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, adapt for display and distribute that content solely for the purpose of operating, moderating and promoting the service. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies retained for moderation, legal or backup purposes as described in our Privacy Policy.

You confirm you have the rights to everything you post and that it does not infringe anyone else's rights.

8. Safety — read this

Solomigo helps you discover people and plans. It cannot vet character. We do not conduct criminal background checks or identity-document verification on members. You are solely responsible for your decisions about who you meet, where you go and what you agree to.

Before and during any meetup:

  • Meet in public for the first time.
  • Tell a friend where you are going — the in-plan safety panel can send your plan details by SMS.
  • Arrange your own transport and keep control of it.
  • Do not share financial information or send money to anyone.
  • Leave if you feel uncomfortable, and report the member afterwards.
  • In an emergency contact local emergency services first, then tell us.

9. Moderation, limits and termination

We operate a graduated moderation system. Depending on severity we may warn you, limit specific features, reduce your visibility, hide your profile, suspend your account or permanently remove it. We may do this without prior notice where there is a risk to someone's safety.

If your account is restricted you will see the reason in the app and can submit an appeal through Contact us. You may stop using Solomigo and delete your account at any time.

10. Memberships, boosts and payments

  • Core use of Solomigo is free, subject to fair-usage limits on active plans, daily join requests and daily accepts.
  • Optional memberships are sold as auto-renewing subscriptions (weekly, monthly, quarterly, half-yearly and yearly) and as a one-time lifetime pass. Plan boosts are one-time consumable purchases.
  • All purchases are processed and billed by the Apple App Store or Google Play, under their terms. Prices are shown in the app before you buy.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. Cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends, through your Apple or Google account settings — cancelling cannot be done by us.
  • Refunds are handled by Apple or Google according to their policies. Paid periods already used, and consumed boosts, are generally non-refundable. If your account is removed for violating these terms, you are not entitled to a refund of unused time.
  • A membership improves visibility and removes usage limits. It does not guarantee that anyone will accept your request or attend your plan.

11. Intellectual property

The Solomigo name, logo, app design and software are owned by us. These terms grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, modify, distribute or create derivative works from it.

12. Disclaimers

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the maximum extent permitted by law we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that content posted by members is accurate.

13. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Solomigo and its team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or for personal injury, death or property damage arising out of your interactions with other members or your participation in any plan. Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or INR 5,000.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

14. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold Solomigo harmless from any claim, demand, loss or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the service, your content, your breach of these terms, or your conduct towards other members.

15. Changes to the service and these terms

We may add, change or remove features, and we may update these terms. If a change is material we will notify you in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use Solomigo after that means you accept the updated terms.

16. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka, India have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, subject to any non-waivable rights you have as a consumer in your country of residence. Before starting formal proceedings, please contact us so we can try to resolve the matter directly.
